THE ELLE RILEY
MYSTERY SERIES
Elle Riley has had a rough week- full of mishaps, mistakes and
misfortunes. When a witness claims to have seen a murder, the
seemingly simple balance of Elle’s life is upset. The unreliability of the
witness leaves Elle to question if a murder actually occurred. She is
determined to uncover the nature of the crime.
Elle’s skills as an investigative journalist and part-time private
investigator lead to her teaming up with the no-nonsense
local sheriff to help solve the mystery. But with no body, no crime scene,
and their only clue a mystery man with a mystery truck, the pair will
have a hard time cracking the case. Hopefully they can catch a
possible killer before their differing personalities cause
them to kill each other.
Elle struggles between her tenacious determination to solve the mystery
and her fear of becoming a victim. Will her “ask for forgiveness,
not permission,” personality lead to her ultimate demise?
Private Investigator, Elle Riley has a knack for landing herself
in precarious situations. Not many heinous crimes occur in her small town,
but when they do, she usually finds herself tangled in the investigation.
Her latest case is no different.
Elle meets Tara Daniels, her newest client. Elle prides herself in being
able to read people, and Tara seems like a good person. But
could she be manipulating Elle? Tara’s case starts out as a simple, yet
perplexing mystery, and quickly turns into something far
more serious. When Elle stumbles onto a gruesome scene, right after a crime happens,
someone dear to her is accused of the horrible act. With the evidence
stacked, Elle tries to prove their innocence.
Elle’s boyfriend, the local Sheriff reminds her that she is too close to the case.
But she will not stop until the truth comes to light. She pushes the limits to
find the guilty person as things spiral out of her control.
Elle’s relationships, loyalty and judgment are put to the test. What will her
loyalty and her good intentions cost her? Will getting too close to the truth, lead to the
ultimate price being her life?
